Lady Gaga—Paparazzi Music Video

deadmodelsladygagapaparazzi

Lady Gaga is bonkers.
Check out her latest video full of dead models and performing on crutches.

Oh, and it’s like 8 minutes long. Like a Michael Jackson video.
But I’d say fast forward to the actual song.

Is Lady Gaga an artist or a clown?

Halloween & Texas Chainsaw on Atari

Wow, so I posted about getting Friday the 13th for NES a little bit ago. And then I found out Halloween and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre were both turned into video games for Atari.

I don’t even know what to say about the graphics in these!

Works in Progress

woops

So the “Spring ‘09″ drop isn’t really going to be Spring anymore…
I’m just gonna release it and call it a DROP.
Like a bizomb.

Or just say “Hey, we have new shirts now.”

But things are coming along, well actually—it’s just I put a bunch of stuff on my plate and basically running this whole shindig myself makes for only so much time to get it all done. And I’d rather create something right, than right now.

And you don’t really care about seasons anyway, do you?

Below are some works in progress to keep you interested. All of them will change, or are incomplete, so don’t hold me to these!

Click on the link below to see.
Do you like??

True Blood Marketing

Someone get me some HBO so I can catch this show!
And then get me Showtime so I can watch Dexter!

Ohh why does my life hate me??

Are there any good horror/sci-fi/freakshow related shows on cable TV? Got to watch Fringe more, and Reaper. Dollhouse just ended, and was a freakin great episode, but I don’t expect it to come back next season so Goodbye mind-erasing, crazy-escaped-killer-doll show.

PS-After the jump check out some other clever marketing ways they’ve used to promote the show!

DPM at MassArt RIGHT NOW

massachusetts-college-of-art-and-design-95e3779fpng

I graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and every Winter and Spring they hold a sale featuring juried work from alumni and current students. It ranges from clothing to paintings to jewelry.

Last Saturday I dropped off select Dance Party Massacre shirts for the Spring Sale. All shirts are only $20 or lower, and it’s where I try to sell off the older designs for cheap, so get at those!

All proceeds go to either help fund scholarships or go the artists/designers themselves! Stop on by 621 Huntington Ave by the MFA (you can’t miss it—big glass windows).

What Are U Afraid Of? 1 Year Anniversary

whatbutton
http://www.whatareuafraidof.com

I always wanted DPM to be more than just a tee line. I still look for ways to spread its message beyond graphic apparel, and just about a year ago Dance Party Massacre launched “What are U afraid of?”.

It’s a viral campaign and a social experiment that simply wonders how people will respond to this question. But there’s also an underlying push for people to start thinking about their lives and their fears, and possibly start overcoming what is stopping them from being happy, unfulfilled, etc.

wauaoold

WAUAO? is apparent in real life with conspicuous stickers asking you that simple question, but it’s mostly based on the web as a blank black wall for people to anonymously post their answer.

Besides the actual answers being the interesting part of the experiment, it’s also the phrases people search that lead them to the website. I always expected some people to simply answer the question at face value, while others would take it another direction. Only the responses online would give us a clue, but seeing how random strangers stumbled upon the website is also insightful.

afraid3

With the campaign turning a year old, I want to say Thank You to all who helped promote it and found it interesting enough to spread it around. We’ve reached almost 800 responses (a lot more if we didn’t delete the offensive or spam) and currently at about 7,000 page views!

I think what we can all get from it is that you’re not alone in fearing something, being alone, scared, etc. And the only way to overcome those demons are to deal with them, kill em, and move on!

So go ahead and fight, What are U afraid of?
-Alex

PS-Check out the WAUAO? tag for extra info, and there’s more photos after the cut.
