The Kill, Not The Thrill

This thing hasn’t even begun and I look around me and feel sick. Try to do something from the heart and they eat your brains. You want to pull out your eyes.

Have fun idolizing the people that bring others down. Make yourself look tough so people will fear you. You’re only cool in your own head. Stop trying to make yourself rise above as you step on dead bodies because your ego crushed them. Hide behind your fake faces. We don’t need a mask to feel powerful.

I fear we will get lost in the abyss of trendiness, but the shining hope comes from the fact that we’re about our own demons. We don’t care what others think and we don’t care what’s trying to bring us down. Your thoughts will mean nothing to us.

This thing is about being happy with yourself and not being afraid. It’s about dark rooms with the flickering of the TV, your best friends lying around you. It’s about partying in your own kitchen because standing in line and trying impress people isn’t worth it. It’s about being bright and flashy because you glow with joy, not to attract attention.

Will I regret writing this? Does it even make sense? Oh ya, I forgot. It doesn’t really matter what you think. If you’re a friend you’ll love us and protect us.

You can have your thrills. We’re in this for the kill.
